I started my career in meetings & events, beginning in hotels and resorts, where my time in F&B roles taught me the business from the ground up. From there I moved into business operations at a product management and product marketing educational company, where I built the processes, systems, and teams behind the work and saw over and over that a company cannot scale without the proper infrastructure in place.
Again and again, owners of meetings & events businesses told me they'd started their own business, but now had even less time and more work. I knew it didn't have to be that way. I'm not here to give events advice, since these owners are the experts on that. What I can speak to is the operations behind the business.
